Call of Duty has gone and done it again. Activision today announced that the newest addition, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, has passed the $1 billion mark in its first 15 days of sale, beating its predecessor, Modern Warfare 3, which took 16 days to reach the same amount.
To put this into perspective, it took Avatar 17 days to reach the $1 billion mark.
They also revealed that over 150 million hours of multiplayer have been clocked by gamers, probably resulting in a lot of break ups and sick days. With all these numbers it looks like the Call of Duty series still has plenty of life in it.
